This charming patriotic sewing case measures 4" x 2 3/4" when closed and features a girl holding the flag, an alphabet, tree, birds, flower band and a poem I wrote. Most of the design is stitched 'over one' using overdyed cotton and silk threads. Inside the case is a place to store scissors, a bodkin, needle threader and needles.
Kit includes 32-count linen, threads and all finishing materials. (Scissors and needle threader not included.) Stitches include Montenegrin Stitch, Small Rococo, Closed Herringbone, Tent Stitch and Nun Stitch.
This online class is with 'Shining Needle Society.' Registration begins October 15, and ends November 15. Class begins January 1, through February 15, for the stitching portion. The finishing portion will be April 1 - 30. More information will follow regarding kit cost.
